Coolibah is a charitable organization founded in Mandurah in 1969 to provide assistance for people requiring accommodation.
In 2002 the organization recognized its role needed to be expanded to provide community care services to its constituents and support people to live independently in the community. Today, Coolibah’s expanded role includes quality independent living, residential care, respite services for a range of carers and in home services.
Coolibah –Total Caring is one of the largest stand-alone organizations in Western Australia where our services make a difference to people’s lives. In Mandurah, people trust Coolibah because services revolve around the individual.
We employ almost 100 staff and have volunteers where “every one shares the caring.” We see our environment as habitats for human beings rather than as facilities for the frail elderly. A human habitat leads to a life worth living. The Coolibah Cottage respite provides center based respite care to people who are frail aged and frail aged with dementia.
The support we provide enables carers to take a short-term break. |
